Jamaica’s gorgeous beaches are studded with all-inclusive resorts just waiting to welcome you
for a fun and relaxing, sun-filled vacation. That is just what I found at Secrets Wild Orchid Resort in
Montego Bay, where the common greeting from the staff was “Welcome home!” and it is hard to want for anything more.
Over my years of traveling, I have had several all-inclusive experiences, some great and some
that left a little something to be desired. I have to say that the Secrets Wild Orchid Resort was among the best of those experiences that I have had. Why, you ask? This was a hassle-free all-inclusive resort.
There are no wristbands that you are required to wear that leave white tan lines and signal that you are a tourist. And there are no receipts that you have to sign for every meal or drink that you order, wasting paper and your precious time. At Secrets, if you are on the resort property, which was very secure, you are all-inclusive, and that means order whatever you want and enjoy!
What else did I enjoy about the Secrets all-inclusive experience? Variety! With eight different
restaurants to choose from, your taste buds will never get bored. And, you do not need to make
reservations, which means no waiting in line at the concierge desk to make your dinner plans, as many all-inclusive resorts require you to do, when you could be at the beach with a drink in your hand.
Speaking of drinks, you are never far from one at Secrets, with many bars to choose from and also beach and pool bar service. That level of variety extends to the activities offered as well. There are many ways to be active at Secrets Wild Orchid, including a bicycle tour of the area, yoga, a nature walk (which I highly suggest), and kayaks to take out into the blue Caribbean waters.
If you want to go all-inclusive and have a blast in Montego Bay, give Secrets Wild Orchid a try. I
guarantee you will have a real good time, mon!
