Swim
A rooftop pool? Yes, please! Lounge poolside to soak up some sun and have some bites and drinks. The Roosevelt pool has plenty of loungers for guests, a whirlpool tub and private cabanas available for rental.
What’s Nearby
In a word – everything. The entire French Quarter is a hop, skip and a jump away. But here are a few of our faves. Jackson Square and Cafe DuMonde are about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Or you can take the streetcar down Canal, get off at the river walk, and walk alongside the water until you get closer to Jackson Square. We can taste the beignets and hear the jazz music, now. Ahhhh. On the way, you’ll walk past shop after shop after shop all filled with lots of cool stuff that you don’t need, but you certainly will want. Don’t forget to grab some hot sauce to take back home with you. Also, if you’re into luxury hotel hopping (if you’re not, you should be), keep in mind that The Ritz-Carlton is just across Canal Street and is home to The Davenport Lounge, which features live jazz music by Jeremy Davenport.
